Nike was the title sponsor of the Greasebus, which was an interesting mix of metal fabrication projects, event marketing, and sustainable transportation programs. During the winters of 2005 - 2010 we offered buses, which ran on soybean oil, from our NE Portland office to Mt Hood every day, all season. We brought close to ten-thousand people to the mountain over that half-decade, and in a carbon-neutral manner.
In addition to the Meadows service, we also ran a weekend bus from evo, in Seattle, to Stevens Pass. The Greasebus also did several video tours with the Nike Snowboarding team and one cross country adventure.
