I’m currently working on a double-sided sign for Tucker Road Animal Hospital, keep an eye out for it going up real soon. It’s made from cold-rolled steel, which Hood River High School STEM teacher, Ryan Bahn and student, Josie Cordova have laser cut the logo into at the schools amazing metal workshop.
From there, I welded the pieces together and then force-patina with salt, vinegar, and a black oil stain. The cut out parts will reveal a translucent white acrylic panel, which lights up at night.
